I am the founder and Executive Director of Uplift, Inc.

Uplift Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit organization, provides programs and services to members of underrepresented communities to produce lifelong learners and to help ensure an improved quality of life. The purpose of Uplift, Inc. is to research existing conditions within underrepresented communities and develop technology-based and other educational programs, products and services to produce lifelong learners, strong citizens, leaders, and resilient neighborhoods and communities.
This organization was founded in NJ in 1999 and became registered as a foreign nonprofit in DC in 2007. The two active flagship programs of the organization are 1) Youth APPLab, and 2) Robotics in DC. Both programs are designed to be scalable and replicated quickly and easily. They both were inspired by my love for teaching children and passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
